Albert is finally released from prison and reunited with Monique. The Lifeline personnel continue to be in danger of reprisals from their own people and the Communists for alleged collaboration with the Germans, but Albert refuses to leave the Candide. The Allies are still making their way towards Brussels, and Natalie and Alain join the offensive. As Kessler and his men leave the city, Reinhardt stays behind to complete his investigation into Lifeline and pays one last visit to the Candide, just as Paul Vercors emerges to take ultimate revenge on Albert.

The captain assigns Gopher to keep an eye on two teenagers who are posing as newlyweds and shacking up in the honeymoon suite, as one of them is the daughter of the Executive Vice President of the cruise line.

Bo and Luke learn that a family friend, seemingly innocent little old lady Granny Annie, is operating a small-time counterfeiting ring. Boss Hogg has Granny Annie arrested and confiscates her engraving plates, and sells them to a no-nonsense mobster for $25,000. Bo and Luke set out to clear Granny Annie's name by stealing the plates back and throwing them into a lake--unaware that the mobster has found out about the theft, assumes Boss is responsible, and plans to kill him. An emotional Rosco pleads to the Bo and Luke to track down the counterfeiter before Boss suffers a brutal fate.

Quincy has to autopsy a man who died at the county hospital. He is amazed at the ability of the Dr. who tried to save him. It turns out though that the patient was originally taken to a different hospital that turned the ambulance away because the man did not have any insurance. Quincy visits the hospital and, after seeing the same thing happen again, decides to make sure that the owner, Dr. Rollins, does not get to buy another local hospital and run it the same way.

However, nobody knows that the reason he acts the way he does is a result of someone slipping a pill into his ginger ale. The next day, everyone is angry with Richie, but he is confused because he doesn't remember anything that happened after being crowned king.
