Mama is the editor of the years church bazaar cookbook, in it she plans to use her own recipe for Chili. Iola objects thinking it should be hers that Mama uses. Soon Naomi too throws her hat in the ring, saying she makes the best Chili. So the three decide to have to a chili cook-off with the winner getting her recipe in the cookbook. Vint, being stuck in the middle of this brewing argument, is choosen, against his will, as the judge of the contest. All three have identical supplies, with Mama and Iola also have identical ingredients. While Naomi's chili is far different from the other two as it includes two giant cans of store bought chili, plus beer, cheetos and several other items not usually associated with chili. Each bringing back a certain memory from one of her ex-husbands or boyfriends. Each bowl is lettered as the contest begins and Vint decides the 'B' bowl is the best, which belongs to Iola, and she runs home to show her father and dare her mother to throw it out again.

Dorothy dumps a depressed Stan on Blanche but then becomes incredibly jealous when Blanche and Stan hit it off. Meanwhile, Sophia and Rose begin selling sandwiches on the Boardwalk but they inadvertently make an enemy of another vendor, "Johnny No Thumbs".

When Maggie's daughter Vickie returns home, she admits that not only has she has gone through two divorces, but that she lied about being a famous ballet dancer. Despite the ballistics test results, Maggie refuses to believe that a member could be responsible for shooting Chase. At Falcon Crest, Angela considers a foreclosure. In spite of a few close calls, Kit succeeds in hiding her past from Peter.

The dinosaur attacks the base, and the Centurions attempt to stop it. Terror observes the beast heading towards Dominion and captures it, intending to use it against the Centurions. Feeling sorry for the creature, Amber accidentally releases it. It then soon breaks out of Dominion with her and heads towards San Francisco, where the Centurions have to stop it and rescue Amber. BETA gets a message from the rebels on Wollcam. It seems the Queen is back, and is looking for a legendary Stargate, a wormhole leading to a parallel universe. The only person who seems to know anything about it is a Captain Weege, who is the sole crew of a submarine. Weege wants nothing to do with the Rangers, though he does take an interest in Niko. It's an uneasy partnership, as Captain Foxx and Captain Weege can't seem to decide at first who is in charge.

Maya has survived the games thus far, and switches sides to help Goose and Doc put Slade and the General out of commission. The General becomes fascinated with Gooseman, believing him to be a metamorph, and the perfect candidate for his cloned army.
