Chris gets a ventriloquist's dummy and adds him to his radio show, but the dummy becomes more popular, because he "shoots straight from the hip." Maurice is convinced that Joel's cold medicine contains a new appetite suppressant and he presses Joel to tell him what it is. When that doesn't work, he gets Hayden to try to steal the information. To make her fantasy come true, all Shelly must do is burn Holling's old bathrobe.

Jason agrees to show Neri his and Jason's home on ORCA. After steeling one of Vanessa's uniforms and obtaining a fake ID from Froggy, Brett begins a long-winded tour of ORCA that he hopes will bore Neri into making her visit a short one. Neri however is quickly captivated by ORCA—just as Damien seems to be with her. Getting separated from Jason and Brett, Neri wanders into Dianne's lab where she encounters both Dianne and Commander Lucas. Meanwhile Vanessa discovers that one of her uniforms is missing and has an idea of just who is wearing it. Fortunately Jason and Brett are able to get Neri away from an insistent Vanessa and off of ORCA before any more trouble arises.
Melrose Place

Jo and Amanda argue over who is to blame for Jake's departure. Jake meets his biological father, Vince Connors. After they resolve some of their differences, Vince convinces Jake to return to Melrose. Jake apologizes for abandoning Jo, then learns from the FBI that he is to receive a large reward for assisting with the capture of Brittany. Chris continually makes unwanted advances toward Sydney, but Jane believes her sister is just trying to cause trouble. Alison gets her new secretary fired, and picks up a guy at Shooters. She seeks revenge after he leads her to believe he wants a relationship, when he was actually just looking for a one-night stand. Peter Burns, the hospital's new chief of staff, lays down the law to Michael and Kimberly.

Abis Mal threatens Agrabah with a fire elemental who causes destruction. The elemental, Magma, is a relentless beast who has no limits. Even if Genie and Aladdin can manage a way to defeat him, they'll still have to beat Abis Mal to save Agrabah.

Mr Parker comes to Aidensfield unable to recall the last 7 years of his life. It is suggested that when he left the village back then, he left his family and disappeared after collecting his employers payroll. Kate contacts his wife Helen who agrees to see him. Complications occur when another woman turns up claiming to be his wife. Claude goes to see 'strangers on a train' at the cinema, he then receives a strange proposal from a man who took the plot of the film a bit too seriously. It involved strangers carrying out each others crimes. Greengrass isn't interested in getting involved in such a scheme but the stranger keeps pestering him. Claude still refuses but soon finds out his barn had been burnt down shortly after he admitted the insurance was worth more than the barn itself. The stranger kidnaps Alfred, Nick and Greengrass go to investigate, and Alfred is found much to Claude's relief.
