Matt learns that Paul is married, but continues the relationship when Paul says that he needs Matt's help to come out. Paul's wife, Carol, threatens Matt's life. One of the alleged drug dealers reveals to Sydney that he is actually an FBI agent. He talks her into resigning so that she won't be implicated when the feds raid the design firm. Sydney is stunned to discover that the entire fiasco was a set-up engineered by Jane to oust her from the business. Kimberly seeks Amanda's friendship, then tricks her into believing that Michael is stalking her.

Season 1, Episode 4
Ryu, Ken, and Chun Li fight their way out of Kowloon Palace, defeating all the foes they encounter. They almost get out of the infamous area, when boss Lean unleashes his two henchmen, Sodom and Gomorrah, to stop them from escaping. Ryu and Ken defeat them, only to find Lean has Chun Li held hostage. Chun Li's father Dorai, who is a policeman, shoots Lean in the hand just as he is about to fire at Ryu and Ken. All of them safely return to the boy's hotel, where Chun Li says she will take them to go see the martial arts master-turned-actor Fei Long next morning.

When Immortal Ceirdwyn and her mortal husband are gunned down by a street gang, she calls upon her skills as an ancient Celtic warrior to exact her revenge on the members of the gang, one by one. At the racetrack watching Richie's success at racing, MacLeod befriends a young pickpocket, the brother of one of the gang members, and learns of the killings. MacLeod, who has known Ceirdwyn since before they helped smuggle Bonnie Prince Charlie out of Scotland in 1746, feels he must stop Ceirdwyn and make her see that revenge is not the answer -- a lesson she helped MacLeod learn in the bloody aftermath of Culloden. In return, Ceirdwyn helps MacLeod see that, although loving a mortal can be dangerous for the mortal, it is the mortal who must choose whether to take the risk. MacLeod calls Anne. Meanwhile, Richie ""dies"" in a firey crash during a race, a crash that also takes the life of the champion, Basil.

A space shuttle piloted by J.J.'s son, John Jameson, crash lands on the Tri-Borough Bridge carrying two strange meteors—one that could provide a new nuclear fuel and one that contains an alien substance. The first is stolen by the Kingpin's henchman, the Rhino, just as Spider-Man arrives to save Jameson and the co-pilots. When the Rhino sends the aircraft off the bridge, Spider-Man emerges from the water with a dark stain covering his costume. Exhausted, he heads for home, only to awaken hanging from a skyscraper, now clothed in a black version of his costume.
Weird Science

When Chett almost gets struck by a bolt of lightning, Lisa makes Chett invincible to save him. Now, nothing can harm Chett, not even the fact that he was electocuted, run-over, and shot. Gary and Wyatt get Chett to use his powers for good, so Chett becomes the super hero, the Star-Spangled Butt Kicker. Chett works at helping to put a stop to crime. However, trouble occurs when his powers wear off while he's trying to stop some homicidal maniacs.
