Eve is jealous of the amount of time Peter is spending with Amanda. She skips a meeting with her parole officer, and is arrested for performing at an illegal after-hours club. Ryan catches Peter and Amanda in an embrace, and learns of their supposed hotel rendezvous from Lexi. Amanda tells Peter that she is pregnant. Eve overhears this, and races to the rehab clinic to tell Kyle. Kyle breaks out of rehab and goes ballistic, destroying everything in sight and trying to kill Peter. When Amanda tries to stop him, he accidentally throws her through a second-story window. Michael receives a two-million-dollar settlement from the hospital. He insults Audrey on television, so she decides to send her illicit videos to Peter. Ryan and Lexi collaborate on an ad campaign, and hold a drinking contest to determine who will use it. They end up having sex in a closet, and miss their deadline. Dr. Visconti advises Lexi to be less aggressive in her pursuit of men.

Pearly, who was one of Hammer's trainers, is trying to requalify in order to take a fleet assignment, but he seems to have lost his skills.

In shocking turn of events Draven is set free by Judge Morrison but life on the outside is still bleak. Albrecht has been demoted to a beat cop and Draven feels terribly alone without Shelly until he meets another Spirit Crow. Citing that the jury ignored his instructions, Judge Morrison overturns Draven's conviction and sets him free in a dramatic reversal of fortune. But a cloud of suspicion still hangs over Draven, and, because of his association with Albrecht, over Albrecht as well. As if that weren't enough, Albrecht's girlfriend Cordelia, leaves him. Adding insult to injury, Albrecht is demoted to beat cop and Capshaw assumes his desk in the detective division. Treated as a pariah by the public at the Blackout, Draven goes outside where he sees a woman demolish two strong attackers in an alley fight. To his shock, Draven discovers that, she, too, is a Crow. The reporter, under the guise of doing a positive feature, aired an exposé on cockroaches in the kitchen. Helen prosecutes a teenager for killing his neighbor's cat.
