Missles are stolen from the base. Schaeffer, a Marine, saves Ice from a fire (on the ground) but when his burning shirt is torn off, a tattoo of a swastika is revealed and he is suspected of the theft. Meanwhile Teri returns (this is after the funeral of Spoon's father) and guilt seems to keep her and Spoon apart. And Ice seems hurt when Spoon uses a toast that Ice taught him on the night they almost became romantic. (Teri, herself and Capone are present.)

As Brigatti carries out her plan to entice the thief with an expensive diamond pendant, her relationship with Gary grows more personal since they are forced to spend several days and nights together. When it appears that the case has been solved, Gary reads that the diamond will turn out to be a fake -- putting Brigatti's career in jeopardy. Armed with tomorrow's news, only Gary can save Brigatti's job by finding the true thief and returning the diamond to its owner.

When the three of them get to the church they are ambushed and Temple is taken from Sammo and Tyrell. Can Sammo, Tyrell and Grace find Temple, uncover who took him and why and manage to do it all before the news of his escape gets out and ruins Amy's chance of promotion to Commander of Administrative Technical operations.

While the Rugrats play on the grass, the older kids, including Angelica, race around in miniaturised play cars. When a ball goes out into the street, Chuckie catches it, but he jaywalks at an intersection. After getting caught by Officer Dan, he made Chuckie a ""Safety Officer"". However, Chuckie's new powers affected how the Rugrats play -- a little too much.

Knowing that Sonic, Sonia and Manic will want to reclaim their family's treasures, Robotnik expects the heirlooms will serve as perfect bait to finally capture the Hedgehogs. Sonic and his siblings are aware that this is most likely a trap and devise a counter plan of their own to avoid getting caught.
