The trip ends abruptly when thieves hijack the vehicle, kill its driver and shoot Speedle, who was riding shotgun. It's hard for Horatio when the media draw comparisons to a similar case several years ago in which his brother, an undercover cop, was killed. But it's worse for his team when Internal Affairs decides that one of them tipped off the robbers about the delivery.

This episode featured six contestants competing in Las Vegas. The winner would have to bet half the $50,000 on a hand of blackjack. Stunt #1 (Fremont rope swing) Hanging high above the Fremont Street Experience were three platforms, each with two knotted ropes between them. Contestants would have to use the ropes to swing from the first platform the third platform. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Eye Jackpot) In a high-roller suite at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, contestants would have to play a Fear Factor slot machine with four logos: A cow, a sheep, a fish, and a Fear Factor logo. For each animal logo that came up, contestants would have to eat a pair eyeballs belonging to that animal. Each Fear Factor logo would add zero eyeballs to their plate. However, he dies of a heart attack, so they ask Krusty the Clown to run for Congress so that he can help them. Krusty is successful in his campaign, but finds that his air traffic bill is ignored by the veteran Congressmen. He soon becomes disillusioned with the system, so the Simpsons, with guidance from Walter Mondale, help him out by blackmailing one of his opponents and attaching the bill to a more popular one. The bill passes, and the air traffic is re-routed.
